The Role of Universities in America's Pogroms

The American university system has evolved from a beacon of education and enlightenment to an active threat to the United States and its citizens. The irony is palpable as LGBTQ activists on university campuses rally for Hamas, a group that would persecute them in their own territory. Institutions that once championed the American melting pot now provide refuge for those who destroy images of Jewish children.

Universities: A Breeding Ground for Contradictions

Take, for example, The Cooper Union, a private college in New York City. In 2018, it published a call for "vigilance" against microaggressions, urging the institution to foster a supportive culture for diversity. However, when pro-Hamas protesters attempted to invade a library where Jewish students were studying, the college's commitment to "belonging" and "validation" seemed to exclude these students.

Property Destruction and Double Standards

In recent weeks, students at George Mason University, Boston University, and New York University have been caught on cellphone video tearing down posters of kidnapped Israeli children held hostage by Hamas. Despite clear policies against property destruction, only New York University has suggested that those caught may face disciplinary action.

Microaggressions and Hypocrisy

George Mason University encourages staff and students to interrupt "microaggressions" as they occur. Yet, when a student was recorded tearing down a poster of a Jewish hostage, the university condemned both the poster ripper and the recorder. Suddenly, George Mason seemed uncomfortable with the consequences of intervening in a microaggression situation.

Legal Implications and University Responses

Despite property destruction being against the law in Virginia, George Mason University claims that the Commonwealth’s Attorney advised that “the conduct does not appear to be criminal in nature.” The university did not specify whether this referred to the student tearing down the poster or the one recording it. This overt hypocrisy underscores the shallow principles of intersectional liberals.

Right-Wing Activists and Pro-Hamas Supporters

Campus leftists who protested right-leaning activists such as Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and Charlie Kirk are now cheering on pro-Hamas supporters. Activist groups like Black Lives Matter argue that Hamas' brutal acts are necessary for "decolonization," implying that Jews, like Italians, Irish, Cubans, and Asians, have become too "white" for their own good.

Consequences for Universities

Given these circumstances, it's not surprising that donors have begun pulling funding from universities like the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard. It's hard to justify financially supporting institutions that defend supporters of groups that threaten you and your children. State funding and grants should be withdrawn from any university that tolerates this hatred for the Judeo-Christian communities that built this nation. Impact of University Policies on New Businesses

The recent controversy surrounding university policies and their impact on societal norms presents significant implications for new businesses. These situations can influence public sentiment, societal norms, and the overall business environment.

Understanding the Societal Landscape

New businesses must navigate the societal landscape, which involves understanding the implications of university policies, assessing the impact of public sentiment, and considering the influence of societal norms on their operations.
The "Hot Take"
The controversy surrounding university policies could create uncertainties for new businesses. These uncertainties could affect their public image, customer relations, and overall business strategy. However, these challenges also present opportunities for businesses to engage in public discourse, demonstrate social responsibility, and contribute to the development of inclusive and respectful environments. In conclusion, while university policies present challenges, new businesses that can effectively navigate this societal landscape stand to gain the most. They should stay informed about societal developments, adapt their strategies accordingly, and consider playing an active role in promoting inclusivity, respect, and ethical conduct.
