The Necessity of Eliminating Gaza Terrorists: Insights from a Hamas Leader
Despite President Joe Biden's initial declaration of "rock-solid and unwavering" support for Israel, he recently called for a "pause" in Israel's ground assault in Gaza. This came in response to criticism of Israeli airstrikes. However, Ghazi Hamad, a senior member of Hamas' Politburo, has demonstrated precisely why Israel must eradicate this genocidal terrorist group. This follows the horrific pogrom of Oct. 7, which resulted in the death of more than 1,400 Israelis.
Hamas' Continued Threat to Israel
Hamad, a member of Hamas' political bureau and the group's former deputy foreign minister, pledged that the Oct. 7 attack, in which Hamas terrorists killed civilians and infants, would recur until Israel is obliterated. In an interview on Lebanese television, Hamad stated, "We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do this again and again." He further emphasized that Israel "has no place on our land" and must be removed as it poses a security, military, and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation.
Israel's Existential Threat
Hamad's remarks underscore the existential threat that Israel faces from Hamas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has argued that Israel must eliminate Hamas to prevent this threat. Israel must act swiftly to prevent Hamas from regrouping. While a cease-fire and "humanitarian aid" may seem noble, the genocidal government controlling Gaza has demonstrated that it will exploit any aid the West provides.
Iran's Role and the Need for Swift Action
Iran has funneled money to Hamas, and its other proxies in the region are also posing threats to Israel. The Jewish state has faced attacks from all directions, including from Hamas in the southwest, Hezbollah in the north, Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the west, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen in the south. My analysis for The Daily Signal suggests that Iran has received at least $71 billion more under Biden than it would have under former President Donald Trump, due to Biden's relaxation of sanctions enforcement and his moves toward detente with the mullahs. This may have contributed to the Oct. 7 attacks and other attacks Israel faces from Iran's proxies in the region.
Support for Israel
Israel needs to conclude the war quickly to prevent it from escalating into a regional conflict. Similarly, the U.S. should enforce sanctions against Iran and position military assets to deter the mullahs from directly entering the conflict. The events of Oct. 7 demonstrated that Israel must take Hamas seriously, and Hamad's remarks show that it cannot compromise with the antisemitic, genocidal government that controls Gaza. Israel must stay the course, and the U.S. must offer firm support for our ally to achieve its objective. Any alternative, as Hamad demonstrates, would be unconscionable.

Impact of Geo-Political Tensions on New Businesses
The escalating tensions between Israel and Hamas, and the shifting stance of the US government, could have significant implications for new businesses, particularly those operating in or dealing with the Middle East.
Understanding the Geo-Political Landscape
New businesses must navigate the geo-political landscape, which involves understanding the implications of international conflicts, assessing the impact of diplomatic shifts, and considering the influence of public sentiment on their operations.
The "Hot Take"
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas could create uncertainties for new businesses. These uncertainties could affect their public image, customer relations, and overall business strategy. However, these challenges also present opportunities for businesses to engage in public discourse, demonstrate social responsibility, and contribute to the development of peace-building initiatives.
In conclusion, while geo-political tensions present challenges, new businesses that can effectively navigate this landscape stand to gain the most. They should stay informed about international developments, adapt their strategies accordingly, and consider playing an active role in promoting peace, respect, and ethical conduct.
