Maple Ridge Community Management Sponsors 9th Annual Summerfest Festival
Associa Maple Ridge Community Management (MRCM), a leading provider of condominium management services in southwestern Ontario, partnered with the Kennedy Green Community in Brampton to sponsor its 9th Annual Kennedy Green Summerfest festival. The event, held every summer since 2013, aims to promote community awareness, safety, and camaraderie among the complex's four condominium communities, comprising approximately 450 homes.
Approximately 350 residents and guests attended this year's festival, enjoying a variety of activities and amenities. The event featured food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, and an ice cream truck. A DJ provided entertainment, while kids had access to a bouncy castle, slides, face painting, and swimming at the recreation center pool. A "Community Marketplace" allowed residents to showcase their business services, crafts, or hobbies to their neighbors.
MRCM and local vendor partners generously donated gift cards and tickets to Toronto Blue Jays games for a raffle held every 30 minutes. Although the Brampton Fire Department was unable to attend due to emergency calls, members of the Peel Regional Police were present, giving residents the opportunity to meet and interact with local first responders. Additionally, 20 students from area schools volunteered for the event, earning credit toward their community service requirement.
Thomas Kortko, RCM, Vice President of Operations at Maple Ridge Community Management, expressed pride in sponsoring Kennedy Green Summerfest, highlighting its positive impact on fostering an inclusive and cohesive community.
